Heilongjiang is located in the northernmost part of China's territory, and is the province with the highest latitude in China. It was formerly known as the Northern Wilderness, but now, it has undergone tremendous changes. Primitive, rugged and magical, it is the uncanny workmanship of nature that creates the magnificent Heilongjiang style. Long ago, there was a white dragon in the river. It often made waves, flooding the river, leaving the fields barren and sparsely populated in the northeast. At that time, a family gave birth to a child with a black dragon tail, determined that he was a monster, and drove the child away. At the riverside, the child met a lonely old man and lived with him. Gradually, when the children grew up, they knew that there was a white dragon at the river side, and took the initiative to subdue the white dragon. After several days and nights of hard work, they finally defeated the white dragon. In order to thank the children of the black dragon tail, people called the river Heilongjiang.
